No surprises
Four steps.
No surprises.
Here's exactly what happens from the day you contact us to the day your originals come home.
Request a quote
Fill out the intake form. Tell us what types of film you have, roughly how many items, any condition notes (mold, stuck slides, Kodak carousels, loose negatives), and which service tier looks right.
No payment at this step. We'll reply within one business day to confirm your item count, delivery format, and total price before anything gets shipped.

Once we confirm your order, ship your film to:
430 W State Hwy 6 Unit 23673
Waco, TX 76702
Shipping tips:
- USPS Priority Mail includes tracking and up to $100 insurance — we recommend adding more for large collections
- Pack slides in their original carousels or trays if you have them; don't put loose slides in envelopes
- Wrap negatives in the original sleeves or fold-open envelopes, not loose
- Double-box fragile items or use bubble mailers inside the outer box
- We photograph your package on arrival, before and after unpacking
Waco drop-off: Available by appointment only. Contact us first at [email protected] to schedule.
Scanning in Waco
All scanning is done in-house in Waco — we do not outsource. We email you when your package is received and when scanning begins.
Standard turnaround: 4–6 weeks from the day your package arrives.
Rush turnaround: 2 weeks from receipt (+50% of base price, subject to availability).
What we do during scanning:
- Count and log every item on intake (we'll catch any mismatch with your estimate)
- Scan at rated resolution for your media type (3,000 DPI for film, 600–1,200 DPI for prints)
- Apply software-based color correction and dust reduction
- Organize files by roll, tray, or album as labeled
- Export JPEG (for sharing and printing) and TIFF (archival, lossless)
Digital delivery + originals returned
When scanning is complete, we email you a cloud download link. You have 30 days to download your files — reach out if you need an extension.
Your originals are shipped back via USPS Priority with tracking. If you ordered a USB drive, DVD set, or mailed hard drive, those ship with your originals.
That's it. No subscription, no account to manage, no follow-up sales. Download your files, check that everything looks right, and let us know if anything needs attention.
Ready to start? Fill out the intake formDamage and loss policy
We handle your originals carefully. Film and paper are fragile, and we treat every order as if it's irreplaceable — because it probably is.
That said, here's the honest policy:
- → In the event of loss or damage by us, our maximum liability is the cost of the service you paid — not the replacement cost of the originals, not sentimental value.
- → We photograph the condition of your package when it arrives, so there's a documented record if anything was damaged in transit before it reached us.
- → We do not open or handle slides or negatives without clean equipment. We do not eat, drink, or smoke near film.
- → We do not outsource scanning. Your film does not leave our facility.
Pre-existing damage (mold, stuck film, deteriorating base) is noted on intake. We'll tell you if something is too far gone to scan before we attempt it.
